Counselling/Therapy is provided for individuals who are faced with a variety of challenges including, but not limited to;

Complimentary 15 minute phone consultations are available upon request. Clients often report this is a great opportunity to ask questions and see if we are a fit. There is no obligation to return.

Individual Session -  $125.00/hr                Couples Session - $135.00/hr  

Counselling fees include our time in session and other necessary preparation time, including record keeping. I am pleased to offer sliding scale in some situations. Please inquire.

Payment is due at the time of service through e-transfer, credit card or cash and is arranged prior to each session. 

24 hours notice is required prior to rescheduling or cancelling an appointment, otherwise you may be charged a fee.

 

Consultation/Workshops and Clinical Supervision are available on request in areas of expertise, such as chronic stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting after separation, grief, loss, burnout and compassion fatigue, polyvagal theory and trauma informed practise.   

Rates may vary and are agreed upon at the time of request. 

Office hours vary but are typically Monday - Friday between 9 and 4pm with limited availability on evenings and weekends. 

 ​​First Nations Health Authority Approved Mental Health Provide- Indigenous people are often eligible for funding for counselling through one of the three programs with First Nation's Health Authority; The Mental Health Support Program for Indian Residential School Survivors (and family members); The Short Term Crisis Intervention Mental Health Program and the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls program. If you think you may be eligible please contact me and I am happy to assist you to apply for funding. You are also welcome to contact First Nation's Health directly. 

Health Plans and Extended Benefits - The services provided by a registered social worker are reimbursed by many extended health plans, insurance companies and/or employee assistance programs. Please contact your provider to determine if they will cover your session fees. You may also be able to claim counselling fees on your tax return. ​I am happy to assist you in trying to determine your eligibility for benefits if needed.
